![]() ![]() I restarted the launcher and it redownloaded the whole update again (it was around ~75MB) and at the end it worked. I fixed by canceling the update, closing the launcher and then by deleting the GTA5.exe in the installation folder. However, some days ago I had an issue just like yours because of a new small update. This one ignore the verification of GTAV's files, allowing to : - Launch your game quicker : Deleting the step of the Rockstar Games Launcher and of the video at. NoGTAVLauncher is an alternative launcher to replace the Rockstar Games Launcher to launch GTA V. I had to smash the Retry button everytime but somehow I managed to download the update. NoGTAVLauncher is a creation of Transmet, member of the Los Santos Multiplayer team. I came to this forum looking for answers myself but it looks as though you are having the same amount of luck as i am having which is basicly coming to a dead end when it comes to fixing the problem. I have tried a number of things to fix this problem but they just dont work. Everytime i launch the launcher the update starts and just as it knears the end of the update it stops and an error message appears. I am having the exact same problem myself with an update they put out either for the launcher or the game. If someone can help me, it would be appreciated! Thank you in advance! I have opened a support ticket on Rockstar Support but still no answer. I have already opened the Rocktar Support suggested ports in my router, restarted it many times, tried to open the launcher with administrator privileges, tried to limit the download bandwidth, but still no luck. I am trying to download the rest but as I wrote it's kind of impossible this way. I have already started the download with ~73 GB, because I had an older installation and I verified it. Start the Rockstar client again, this time the download should instantly complete and give you a countdown to when the game gets unlocked. In the past i've used command lines such as -verify and -noChunkedDownload and it would work, because it gave me this kind of problem then too, but now with the new launcher I don't know what to do and theĬommand lines seem to not work for me. Move the torrented preload files to where the game was normally being downloaded and replace the Rockstar client download with your 60GB torrent download. I admit I have a sh*tty internet connection, but I have installed the game before and without launcher (just the Social Club thing that was present before the Launcher debut). I have to press the "Retry" button everytime this happens because the download does not restart automatically and then the download keeps going on but this way it's impossible to download the game properly. I start the download and it's downloading as it should be, then after 5 minutes or so, a red banner with an error message ("GTA V has encountered an error.") shows and the download suddenly stops. Step 4: Once you have uninstalled the launcher and Social Club app, download them again. ![]() Step 3: Navigate to Rockstar Games Launcher & Social Club and select the uninstall options. Step 2: Open the Control Panel and navigate to Programs. While downloading GTA V (I own it through the launcher and am downloading it with that), a sort of connection error keeps showing every couple of minutes or so. Step 1: Press the Win key and type Control Panel in your search bar. Hello everyone, I have a problem with the Rockstar Games Launcher. ![]()
